The world’s leading brand has announced plans to develop a “new and exciting” product aimed at pet parents.
Alaldi Pet Food, based in the US state of Georgia, is one of the world’s biggest pet food manufacturers and is one the most successful companies in the pet food industry.
The company has a significant presence in the food industry and has been successful in the market for more than a decade, with the company’s brands including Almondmilk, AlmondMilk, Milk and Almond Plus.
Its parent company, Pet Food Alliance, was founded in 1998 and has a combined sales of $3.3 billion (£2.7 billion).
Almondmilks and Almonds are the largest pet food brands in the world, with AlmondPlus in the top five.
In 2018, Almonds made a further $1 billion in sales, according to industry data from Euromonitor International.
Almondplus has a global market value of $6.8 billion, and is the fourth-largest brand behind Cadbury and Kraft.
AlmondPlus is the world leader in the production of premium, high-protein dog food, with a variety of dog foods including Almonds, DogoLion and Almaria.
The announcement is made at the International Almond and Animal Food Symposium in London, where Almond products are being showcased for the first time.
Almonds has been the top-selling brand in the dog food industry for the last 15 years, according, with sales rising from $2.6 billion in 2016 to $6 billion last year.
Almars is a premium dog food with an estimated annual sales of more than $60 billion, with its market value estimated at more than £1.8 trillion.
